amad.studio was born from a simple idea: mix the digital and print worlds into something new.
Rooted in nightlife and the underground music scene, the studio crafts unexpected works that embrace pop culture, aesthetic, and identity with its own twist.

Despite having very different clients from all walks of life, the studio always takes an inventive and unique approach, making sure to cater to each client's needs. Continuing to explore visual messages with a fresh perspective and insights you won't find anywhere else.

Diversity and inclusivity are its core values, especially in an industry that often outprices and excludes people based on many factors. This vision has been central to Amad’s personal journey and now drives the studio's mission.

Always ready for a chat with potential clients about how we can create something truly special for you also.

ART DIRECTION & DESIGN

Cartoon Network Hotel

While over at Turner Broadcasting, I worked with a talented team to help bring the Cartoon Network Hotel to life working on various assets,

Leveraging the fantastic properties and art we had from the Cartoon Network library we created something that was truly one of its kind in a much needed space.

Project Role:
Art Director
Designer

* All work Produced while  I was freelancing at
Turner Broadcasting  (Now Warner Discovery)

By leveraging the art style that kids and grownups have grown to love , we wanted to showcase the hotel as a space where everyone can remember that special feeling they have when tuned into the channel.

East is West

East is West founder Sonya Ghori, who brought me into East is West to craft the brand from the ground up. As both childs of immigrants from Pakistan we both have been living in this world between worlds and it was great to bring it to life with the power of Streetwear. Through many late night zooms, phone calls, and sending each other references across both sides of the pond we are ready to bring East is West to life Q4 2023.  We answered the age old question , of what is it really living in both the East & the West?

* Clothing designed & constructed by
various contractors.

I wanted to bring in a lot of Eastern colours and typography to help craft the world that I felt wasn’t really represented in the current streetwear market.  Streetwear is something that is very accessible to everyone and we wanted to take inspiration from cultures to create a beautiful tapestry of weaving everything together. The logo and brand guidelines are very fluid as they adapt to their use in various ways.

CREATIVE DIRECTION & DESIGN

jump! Festival

I was approached by jump! Festival, a event based in Walthamstow, London to help create branding for a new type of festival that celebrates games of all kinds and encourages play. I wanted to deconstruct the idea of video games and create hand made patterns that evoke sugar paper and cut & play crafts. Each pattern shows a different element of the festival.

A nod to the art work of Eric Carle but in its own signature style. You can see layers of colours and textures that helped build what JUMP! was. In addition, I created signage for various game booths on the day of the festival.

Sonic Landscapes of Colour

Sonic Landscapes of Colours are a 9 episode series of audio recordings broadcasted on the BBC that I was asked to come up the visual style and branding for. I wanted to use the syncopation of sound to create the typography and the art itself. This project allowed so many stories to be told by voices from Devon, a county in SW London. It was very important to me to stay true and local I can with the imagery and the over all feel of everything. Proud to say that this was one of the most listened to audio series on the BBC Sounds app as well nominated for a ARIA.

Have a listen here (UK Only)

2023
Devon

Sonic Landscapes of Colour evolved over time from its intitial idea and branding to the landscapes which preminate the series as it is now. The textures and “scapes” of Devon become important to showcase just as much as the audio showcased the Youth and the SW.
